Schedule Change

posted Mar 9, 2019, 4:43 PM by Amity Chess   [ updated Mar 14, 2019, 5:07 PM ]

Fellow Amity Club Members,

Because of a conflict with the schedule of the tournament at the Lancaster Chess Club and in the interest of providing the greatest tournament opportunities to our members, we are changing the scheduled date of our March tournament from March 22 to March 29.  We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this change may cause, but mark you calendars accordingly.

As always, please let Richard Jokiel know (via text at 610-580-7405 or email at amitychessclub@gmail.com) if you plan to attend.

Update: The Lancaster County Championship's first game is now beginning on April 5th, instead of March 22nd. Our March's monthly tournament date will still remain unchanged.

If you are interested in participating in the annual Lancaster County Championship you can visit http://www.lancasterchess.com/wp/. The information for this year's event hasn't yet been updated on the website, but continually check back to see if the information concerning registration is updated. This is the 71st year of the Lancaster County Championship, not the 70th, so that way you can tell when the information concerning the tournament is relevant to this year.
