When:

Registration:

• Last day of registration via email: July 7, 2011.
• On-site registration will end at 6:50pm on the date of the tournament.  Players who have not registered at that time will only be given a half-point bye on the first round.  So, please register early.

Format:  3-round Swiss.  Game/30 (digital clocks must be set to Game/25 with 5-sec delay.)

Rounds:

• Round 1 will start at 7:00pm.
• Succeeding games will start 5 minutes after completion of all games in the previous round.
• Since there are no money and trophy prizes, half-point byes may be taken on any round.  If you have to leave early, you may take a half-point bye on the last round.  If you come in late, you may also take a half-point bye on the rounds that you missed.

USCF Section:

• Only current USCF members may participate
• Results will be submitted to USCF for regular and quick chess rating
• July ratings supplement will be used

Club Section:

• USCF membership is not required.
• Your rating from the past tournament will be used.
• If you have a USCF rating, your USCF rating will be used.

Entry Fees:

• USCF Tournament:        $0.50 per player
• Club Tournament:        None

Prizes:  Bragging rights.  No money prizes.  No trophies either.
