Dear Amity Chess Players:

Our December 2023 tournament has been rated.  Results can be viewed at:

Because of some last-minute changes, the tournament had only one section.  One of those last-minute changes was the addition of International Master Thomas Bartell.  His performance in the tournament did not disappoint, and he won the event with a score of 3-0.

Please join me in congratulating Mr. Bartell and in extending a standing invitation to visit our humble club at any future meeting.

We will be meeting on December 22, however the Church will be closed to outside groups on December 29.

If I do not see you next Friday, let me take this opportunity to wish each of you and your families a safe, warm, and happy Holiday Season, and to a full and lively chess-filled 2024.
