On one Friday per month, we hold a USCF sanctioned tournament.

A regular club meeting also will be held, though in a separate room to the tournament, so as to not disturb the tournament.

Tournament Details:

• You must be a current USCF member (see here if not)

• Tournament format is the Swiss System or Round Robin (depending on number of players, and spread of player ratings)

• 3 rounds

• Time control is G/30 d5

• Cost is $3, please bring cash. (Entry fee is $1, an additional $2 is charged to help cover the rent for the use of the church's facilities.)

• The first round will start at 7:00pm on the dot (don't be late).

• Usually 1 section, however more if large number of players and/or wide rating gap are present

• Please bring a regulation tournament chess set and chess clock.

• To participate in the tournament you must preregister by 3pm on the day of the tournament
